    CumeVision: The Remote's Cold Shoulder

A viewer needs to exit a simulation. The remote's sensor rejects a warm hand as 'thermal contamination.' The only way to transmit a valid exit command is to lower the remote's temperature below the sensor's threshold.

    The Cartography of Thirst

A dehydrated dockworker demands specific moon-spring water. Dr. Meridian notes his skin is raising ridges that map the water's mineral density. His body physically archives its hydration source. He must choose between immediate thirst relief and losing the permanent physical record of his origin.

    CumeTV: The Shape Department Special

A viewer wants a clear preview of the next Shape Department episode. Because CumeTV’s promotional law states that every preview must physically demonstrate the episode’s core rule, a practical clay shape forms, turning the ad into a miniature, tangible lesson in the show’s material logic.

    The Refusal

In 2189, a crewmate refuses to open a sealed cargo hatch because the biometric scanner flags a 'contaminant' inside. Ortiz and Voss discover the scanner is being fed false data by a hidden sensor. The refusal protects the crew from a silent structural breach that the automation is trying to mask.

    CumeVision: The Oxygen Debt

A commuter skips a mandatory ad on CumeVision, converting each skipped second into breathable oxygen debt. She must watch a specific absurd ad or physically suffocate to settle it.

    The Flat Door

A client commissions a flat door that fits a perfectly round hole. Len and Odo measure the hole, cut a circular plywood door, and install it. Because the client wants a door that looks like a door but fits a round hole, they must create a flat object that is simultaneously a rectangle and a circle.

    CumeFeed: The Last Cookie

A viewer tries to accept the network's mandatory final cookie, but the consent button only depresses if the user first deletes their entire watch history.

  8. CH 1 · Orlando General

    The Centience Clause

Dr. Meridian must quarantine a tourist's sentient support coin as a biohazard, forcing a choice between the patient's stability and hospital rules as the coin reacts to stress.

  9. CH 1 · Station bump

CumeVision Oxygen Tube: The Sniff Test

A viewer asks if their CumeVision oxygen tube is safe. The promo shows it stays flexible only while the user watches; looking away instantly hardens it into a rigid translucent rod, preventing accidental strangling.

    The Pressure Lock

Ortiz and Voss trace a stolen gravity anchor to a witness whose unregulated suit proves she faked her death and stole it.

  11. CH 1 · Station bump

    Somewhere Systems: Oxygen Tube Safety

A viewer wants to share a CumeVision oxygen tube with a friend, but a corporate rule states the tube can only be used by the person who first exhaled into it. The friend's attempt triggers a visible lockout.

  12. CH 1 · Shape Department

    The Rigid Ring

A client commissions a perfectly flat, unbreakable ring of compressed lunar dust to seal a leaking CumeVision oxygen tube, but the material's absolute rigidity makes it impossible to slide over the tube's curved connector, forcing a physical trade-off between seal integrity and fit.

  13. CH 1 · Station bump

    CumeVision Oxygen Tube Recall

A viewer's CumeVision oxygen tube is recalled for being too effective. A technician swaps the tube, but the replacement makes the viewer breathe the ad instead of air.

  14. CH 1 · Orlando General

    The Literal Wish Ward

A patient wishes to be 'light as a feather.' The ward's literal-wish rule physically reduces his mass to 0.05kg. Because he now floats uncontrollably, the team must stabilize him without violating the rule's permanence clause.

  15. CH 1 · Station bump

    CumeTV: The Moonlight Check

A CumeTV station ident featuring a single physical check made of brushed lunar steel. The check is stamped with a CumeTV logo and the amount '100%'. A gloved hand stamps a second CumeTV logo onto the check, completing a visual circuit.

  16. CH 1 · Police Space Officer: Orlando

    The Humid Seal

A resident's attempt to seal a micro-leak with a specific thermal-expanding compound creates a pressure imbalance that traps him in his own doorframe. Ortiz and Voss must deduce why the 'helpful' seal failed and execute a tactical choice to release him before his oxygen reserves fail.

    The Paper Fold

  22. CH 1 · Police Space Officer: Orlando

    The Gift of Breath

A rookie technician discovers his mandatory life-support gift has been swapped. To prove his innocence, he must trade his own oxygen reserves to run the forensic test, forcing a choice that determines who survives the airlock purge.

CumeVision Oxygen Tube: The Sneeze Clause

A CumeVision remote is shown with a tiny, sealed oxygen tube. The want is immediate, uninterrupted signal. The rule is that the tube must be squeezed exactly once per sneeze. Because a user sneezes while watching, the remote physically expands, forcing a visible test of the tube's capacity.

  24. CH 1 · Shape Department

    The Exact Shadow

A client requires a wooden block whose shadow matches a specific complex shape. Len and Odo must build the physical object, but the shadow's geometry depends entirely on the light's angle, forcing them to solve a spatial puzzle where the object's form is invisible until tested against the light.
